Who we are

Introducing Source To Sea’s experienced canoe leaders:-

Colin Skeath MBE

Colin has an extensive mountaineering background and has climbed rock faces and mountains across Europe, Africa and America.  After 30 years in the mountains he bought a canoe to paddle on Loch Sunart.  From this moment his passion switched to canoeing.  Circumnavigations of Anglesey and Skye followed, then in 2017 Colin, along with his nephew, made the first ever circumnavigation of the UK mainland by open canoe (watch the video).  In 2018 Colin was awarded the prestigious John MacGregor Outstanding Challenge award by British Canoeing.  Colin is one of the most experienced coastal canoeist in the UK, with great knowledge and understanding of tidal waters and a love for all aspects of canoeing and expeditions.

Katrina Skeath
